Two photographs taken by Oliver’s Merle Somerville were honoured at this years People’s Choice exhibition. The top two works at the Osoyoos Art Gallery were chosen from 22 artists from throughout the region.

Join Merle at the VQA Wine & Tourism Centre in Penticton, celebrate their Annual Open House and enjoy some of Merle’s latest work, focusing on the viticulture and seasonal changes of the Okanagan. Visitors throughout the duration of the show can enter to win a draw prize.
Merle will have several new images on display for the next few months.
Merle is really excited to be selected for this year’s Fall cover of Wine Trails Magazine. Hand-picked by the Editor, Merle’s “Country Cuisine” is an example of his “aged-sepia” technique that favours the 1930′s style of “Pictorialism”.
